Mouthfill coaching over Skype

Mouthfill coaching over Skype

In an ideal world we would all have a perfect work-life balance and plenty of time for training, relaxation, and pursuing our personal interests outside of work and family life. However, many, or even most of us, end up feeling stressed, overwhelmed and that we’re just juggling too many things. Invariably it is the training and the personal interests that take a backseat to everything else.

Distance coaching over Zoom solves this issue in many ways; it allows you to plan coaching sessions at convenient times, from your own home or during a quiet hour at work; it enables you to progress in your practice without having to take time off work, or to travel; and it can help you to understand the importance and personal benefits of maintaining a balance in your life, and teach you how to prioritise to ensure you are not the last item in your own ‘to do’ list.

I use Zoom to help people all over the world with their yoga, meditation and spiritual practice; with their freediving techniques and training;  and with life in general. I draw from my own training and experiences in life, and work intuitively and individually with each client to design a personal, tailormade package.

The initial Foundation Programme includes three sessions, but if you wish to continue then you are welcome to continue session by session, or to book a further package of sessions at a discount.

Yoga & Meditation online

Technology – just as the mind – was created to serve us and make our lives more productive, efficient, and easy. But it also has a habit of taking over our lives, dominating our downtime and eating up our energy and peace of mind.

Yoga and Meditation over Zoom puts both technology and the mind in their place – where they serve and obey our higher self, and enable us to achieve and excel in our lives.

Whether your focus is to work on developing a physical practice to strengthen your body and improve your health and wellbeing; or you have tried again and again to sustain a regular meditation practice but feel like you’re getting nowhere; or even you have a specific issue in your life which is painful and holding you back from your dreams, such as repeated failed relationships, fear of change, lack of direction, food or other substance issues… (look deeply enough and we all have one or two, they are part of life), I can work with you personally over Zoom to help you address these issues and more.

How Does It Work?

I will send you a consultation form which will help me to understand you better – the challenges you faced so far in your life, your relationships, work, health, interests, and also find out what your goals, short, medium and long-term are, so that I can help you move through challenge and pain and arrive at your ‘goal-state’ in the most efficient way.

We initially each commit to three sessions; the first session I will drill down into areas of your consultation form that I find significant and relevant, and ask more questions to make sure I fully understand you. I will explain my approach and we will begin with some basic exercises. This first session normally lasts around 90 minutes and will give you daily exercises to begin your journey. For the further two sessions we will either work on a specific kriya (physical yoga sequence) that best supports you in reaching your goals, or a specific meditation that will help you to understand the issues you are struggling with and help you to either resolve or let go of them in order to move forwards.

This is a time not only for me to teach you aspects of yoga and meditation, but for you to speak freely about your life in complete confidentiality. It can be a valuable time to share and unload some of the burden and uncomfortable emotions that you may be carrying with you.

These consultations are booked and times are agreed session by session and I normally suggest they are spaced about two weeks apart, sometimes more. If you are working on a kriya or a meditation I will encourage you to commit to a daily practice, which you can sustain for a minimum of 40 days.

I've been freediving with Sara for four years now and she has been so great at helping me to relax and focus on the enjoyment of freediving. I've also been on her distance meditation programme for a year, and I've become so much more confident and calm personally and professionally - I almost enjoy giving presentations at work now!

Freedive Coaching Online

How can I help you with your freediving without us being in the water together?

Freediving is about relaxation as much as it is about technique, possibly even more so. Relaxation begins in the mind, in controlling and directing our thoughts, rather than letting the ‘monkey-mind’ control and direct us. What kind of things can you work on over Zoom?

You’d be surprised just how much you can learn and improve when working from your computer at home! Here are some examples of themes I have worked on with clients so far…

  • mouthfill training from basic to advanced levels.

  • developing a regular meditation practice to improve mental control and relaxation.

  • nutritional advice to prepare for a training or competitive season.

  • yogic practice to improve your flexibility and core strength to support your technique in the water.

  • lifestyle coaching to help you work through, clarify and resolve situations in your life so that your mind is clear and uncluttered when you come to the pool or ocean for training.

How Does It Work?

I will send you an consultation form which will help me to understand you better – the challenges you faced so far in your diving, and your goals, short, medium and long-term, so that I can help you arrive there in the most efficient way.

We initially each commit to three sessions; the first session I will drill down into areas of your questionnaire that I find significant and relevant, and ask more questions to make sure I fully understand you. I will explain my approach and we will begin with some basic exercises. This first session normally lasts around 90 minutes. For the further two sessions we will go into specifics about the areas that you want to work on, and those that I feel to be necessary (we may not initially agree on this, which is an exciting and interesting part of the coaching process). These consultations are booked and times are agreed session by session and I normally suggest they are spaced about two weeks apart.

Meditation and mouthfill over Skype? I wouldn't have thought so until I met Sara. We've been working long distance and I've been amazed at what I've learned about myself. I can't wait for my first personal coaching week in Dahab!
