Yoga is an ancient wisdom tradition for body-mind-spirit transformation. The word ‘yoga’ means ‘union’ and as such it is about connection - connection with your own breath to remain present moment by moment; connection with your own heart to always know, speak, and follow your own truth; and connection with your Higher Self in order to realise your full potential within the realm of human existence. It also is about connection with your environment, Mother Nature, and your fellow human beings, recognising Oneness in all.
Most students begin their yogic journey in classes, and are soon drawn to go deeper into practice by immersing themselves for a few days, a week, or longer, in the teachings. Yoga retreats and workshops are an ideal opportunity to take time out from the hectic pace of daily life, to discover and connect back to what is more meaningful to you. These breaks allow you to find time to rest and replenish yourself; learn how to care for yourself better each day through yoga and meditation as well as nutrition and lifestyle wisdom; and get in touch with your own inner wisdom, the voice of your soul, your inner light and thereby find your true guidance and way back to your own path.
Our retreats combine sacred practice with personal time for reflection, as well as exploration and reconnection with Nature in the desert and ocean. You will connect with like-minded people, new friends who share your interests and are equally inspired by deep, heart-felt conversations about life and love, happiness and suffering, and all the things that are important to you too. You will be guided by Sara and Jean Philippe, with a combined teaching experience of over 40 years. Together they provide you a save space to explore yourself in new ways; to face your fears, test your perceived limits, explore your depths, and allow yourself to be truly vulnerable and open your heart.
With programmes from one weekend, week-long breaks, and tailor-made private retreating, the combination of the powerful Kundalini teachings, a complete break from the daily stresses, and an environment that promotes and supports relaxation and healing, even the shortest breaks will leave you feeling rejuvenated and ready to face the world.
