How we engage with our fears, and the power that we give others to determine our own sense of self worth is MASSIVE for all of us, whether we are aware of it or not. This story is particularly moving as we see how this plays out for us in the water - and how water can give us clarity and help us heal.
I've been coaching the lovely Capucine for over two years and now it's time to share her journey of transformation with the world.
Initially she was full of self-doubt, in a toxic relationship and suffering from bouts of low mood, verging on depression. As a freediving instructor her passion for sharing the sport was tainted by her lack of confidence, caused by a thoughtless throw-away diminishing comment from her own instructor at the end of a beautiful dive. She thought she had nothing to offer, and needed to give endlessly to prove her worth. And this played out all all her relationships.
Over the past two years I have helped Capucine unpack these heavy beliefs and see beyond them. It hasn’t been a straightforward path - the way to happiness rarely is - but she is now standing so much more fully in her power, as a woman and instructor and sharing her passion for the ocean and the dolphins of Sataya.
I’m sure this story will resonate with so many people, so I hope you will join us.
If sharing my story can help just one person overcome what I experienced, then it's worth it. - Capucine
