Shift to learning and experience-focused training for optimal performance
Today I am launching the fifth in my revolutionary Yoga for Freediving online courses - Success & Failure. This course focuses on one of the most fascinating and relatable themes within freediving, because everyone comes up against this block at some stage.
It is relatively easy to resolve blocks in training, once the knot of frustration and 'failed' performances is understood. By shifting your focus from being result-oriented, to learning and experience, every training session will be positive, no matter your level, or the outcome of the training.
With the help of this course, you can sort through the illusions of success and failure, and get to grips with your ego. Once you see how your own expectations actually create 'failure', it becomes easy to let go of all the pressure so each dive is simply an opportunity to learn and grow.
The course contains two of the three most powerful practices ever taught in the ancient technology of Kundalini Yoga - both of which had profound effects on my own freediving career.
The title image for this course is actually taken from my first 'failed' attempt at 100m - as you can see, the result didn't matter, but the fact that I learned that I could equalise to 100m was incredible. I was ecstatic despite having blacked out on the surface!
You can also find joy in all of your dives when you shift your perspective, take the pressure off yourself to 'perform' and allow yourself to learn. Start here with my latest, most powerful online course:
If you want to go even deeper on this or any of these journeys, you can also Go Premium with any of the Yoga for Freediving courses and receive a full consultation and three one to one online coaching sessions with me!
I hope these videos continue to support you in your training. I wish you a fabulous summer in and out of the water!
With deep love and great big ocean hugs xxx
