We met Will earlier this month talking about his freediving career - but there is so much more to this man. Not only is he a great freediver - the first man through the Arch No-Fins, and a World Record in Variable Weight - his great passion, his purpose in life is that he freedives with the worlds most famous predatory sharks to demonstrate to the world that - quite simply - they're really not as dangerous as we've been told they are. Tigers, great whites, and bull sharks are all among his daily work - whether photographing, tagging or simply observing.
He runs observation, tagging and photography trips to various locations, along with his partner and fellow former World Record holder, Fred Buyle through their organisation, The Watermen Project. If you're interested in finding out more about how you can get involved, watch this fascinating interview, and get in touch with him about volunteering or funding. Great work, by a great man, and a great friend!
Awesome William, you rock - and I look forward to catching up with you when you're next in Dahab!
